Auf Menorca gibt es viele Museen, Bibliotheken, Galerien und Ausstellungen (vor allem im Sommer), die die Geschichte der Insel zeigen. Sehenswert sind die prähistorischen Ausgrabungsstätten und Baudenkmäler, die Sie an weit über 1000 Stellen der Insel vorfinden - Taulas, Talayots und Navetas genannt.

Menorca Museum (Maò Mahon)

Permanent exhibitions of the island's early inhabitants (Talayotic, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic eras) and art from the 18th to 20th centuries.

Museum (Ciutadella)

The museum is located in the Sa Font Bastion, built in 1677 on cliffs alongside the port. Permanent collection from the island's first settlers, the pre-Talayotic and Talayotic cultures, the Roman and Moorish periods, through to the island's integration into the kingdom of Aragon in 1287. The exhibition includes palaeontological remains, jewelry and everyday objects.

Fort Marlborough

Cap de Cavalleria Ecomuseum

Sa Farinera de sa Aranjì Ethnological Museum

Island Handicrafts Center (Centre Artensal)

Located in Es Mercadel. A centre to preserve and promote the island's traditional handicarfts (ceramics, leatherwork) . With shop, permanent exhibition area, audio visual explainations. Built for the islanders so no 'tacky' souvenir items but genuine handmade craft items.

Open from May to October 1000-1400 hrs. and 1700-2000 hrs. (July and August 1800-2100 hrs.) Sat. throughout the year open 1000-1300 hrs. Entrance free.
