Overview
Son Parc is a small purpose built self contained family resort set in an area of valleys and pine woods with views into the islands' countryside. The magnificent and very natural beach of Arenal de Son Saura lies just below the resort , with white sands stretching hundreds of metres into the bay and gently shelving making it ideal for children and wonderful for snorkelling enthusiasts with it s crystal clear waters. The resort supermarkets, shops are located centrally in the valley area of the resort. The beautiful virgin beach of Cala Pudent is reachable on foot ( 1km) from a coastal path begining at the western end of the resort beach.

Superb large beach set in a sand dune landscape with small seasonal beach Bar Restaurant at the western edge of the beach along with a car park and public toilets. There are lifeguards and watersports available including windsurfing, water skiing, jet skis and pedaloes hire.
Commercial
There is a small commercial area with two mini supermarkets, Bars and Restaurants. For better shopping visit In der Nähe von Es Mercadel.
There is an 24 hour emergency doctor based in Son Parc. Car hire advisable for exploring further afield.

Getting About
There is a daily bus service into Mahon and Fornells.

The beautiful beach here is the cente of day time activities. Just outside Son Parc lies Hort de Llucaitx- recommended for families and couples alike.
Son Parc Golf and Tennis
Son Parc offers the islands only 18 hole golf course with putting green and (floodlit) driving range. There are also tennis courts available and a comfortable club house bar with restaurant overlooking the course . The clubhouse terrace (open to non players) offers snacks, drinks and evening meals. Tee times can be booked in advance and tennis courts for hire.
Hort de Llucaitx
Is a clean countryside recreation centre with things for big people and little people to do! Guided horse treks out into the nearby country side and coastal areas available for the bigger ones along with cycle hire and hiking trails. For the little ones there are play areas( inc trampolines, mini golf) pony and donkey rides and a few farm animals.

Nightime Entertainment
As with most resorts in Menorca, evening entertainment here is generally to be found in the resort bars but nothing that would ever compare to the neon jungle of the popular resorts along the south coast of Majorca. Mahon and Ciutadella however offer something for everyone, but with none of the "binge drink clubbing" to be found on Ibizia and Majorca.
In the resorts there are various bars and restaurants with differing catering to clientel both young and old. Mahon is a taxi ride away offering a wide selection of evening delights and into the early hours discos, clubs and bars.

Es Mercadal
Es Mercadal ist eine kleine alte Stadt im Zentrum der Insel. Mit rustikalen weiß getünchten Häusern und enge Gassen sie liegt am fuß dem Monte Toro, Menorcas höchsten "Berg" (357 m). Am gipfel gibt es aussichtpunkte in aller richtungen und eine nette kleine Cafeteria . Von hier oben geneißt mann eine ausgezeichnete 360 grad Sicht auf die ganze Insel bis zu der Bucht von Fornells, der nördlichen Küste und den sanften Hügeln in der Insel Mitte.
Menorca Tipps
Es Mercadal ist auch ein Gastronomie-und Restaurant Oase, mit einer Reihe von einfach bis zu feinschmecker, aber die Qualität in jeder Preisklasse ist sehr gut. Das Zentrum von Menorca Handwerk "Centre Artesanal de Menorca" ist hier auch zu finden und präsentiert traditionelle und zeitgenössische Kunsthandwerk.

Fornells
Fornells ein Wassersport-und Meeresfrüchte-Restaurant Eldorado. Das Dorf mit seiner Spezialität, Fisch-Restaurants befindet sich am Eingang zu einer großen geschlossenen natürlichen Bucht, deren geschützten Gewässern eignet sich als ideal für alle Arten von Segel-basierten 'Herumprobieren'. Fast wie ein großer Salzsee die Wellen und Windverhältnisse hier sind für Anfänger besonders geschätzt. Entlang dem hafen ist es Mittags und Abends sehr angenehm Getränke und Speisen zu geneißen.

Alaior ( Alayor )
Shoppen, Bummeln und Schlemmen, das kann man hier wunderbar. Dies ist eine tolle Stadt einfach früh oder spät abends wenn die Hitze der Sonne nicht da ist zu besuchen. Die "Dritte" Hauptstadt der Insel und ein Kulturzentrum. Die Altstadt ist sehr schön und macht eine große abwechselung zum Strand, mit einer guten Mischung von kleinen Geschäften, Cafés, Bars und Restaurants. Und einige super ( auch hausgemacht) Eiscafes! Kinderspielplatz liegt auf dem hübschen Dorfplatz (neben dem Eis Cafes!). Alaior hat auch einen Abendmarkt.
